Sports car : exhaust systems

The exhaust system of choice for your sports car is an interesting place to start modifying your vehicle for more power, sound and speed. A higher flowing exhaust system promotes or enhances the engine to function more efficiently by reducing the amount of back pressure. This back pressure makes the engine force air out through the exhaust rather than normal flow. Engines have to be tuned for utilisation of  this back pressure and that's why some vehicles don't run properly when they are modified with free flowing exhaust. When deciding  to modify your exhaust system, you should be careful and plan the entire exercise.
